We make this with Organic Rye grain. It is first soaked and pre-cooked before it is bagged and sterilized. This helps to ensure all bacterial endospores have germinated and killed during processing for a high quality consistent product. Processing may leave a mineral deposit residue on the exterior of the plastic.
